[origin: WO2019115454A1] The invention relates to a device for examining a conveyor system comprising one or more motorized rollers, to a control unit, to a motorized roller, to a conveyor system, and to a method for examining a conveyor system comprising one or more motorized rollers. The device comprises a measuring unit for ascertaining a current curve of the motorized roller, wherein the measuring unit has a first interface and a second interface which are designed to switch the measuring unit in the conveyor system between the motorized roller and a control unit which controls the motorized roller; a third interface for receiving data on the operating situation occurring while the current curve is ascertained; and an analysis unit which is designed to compare the ascertained current curve of the motorized roller with a reference curve which characterizes the operating situation.
