Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2019115267A1] The invention relates to a drawing frame (2) for a spinning machine and to an associated method, the drawing frame comprising an output roller pair (5), which is formed by an upper output roller (6) and a lower output roller (7), and comprising a fiber bunching zone (16) for compacting a drawn sliver, which fiber bunching zone is arranged downstream of an output roller pair (5) of the drawing frame (2) and has a pneumatic compacting device, which has a fiber bunching zone (16) and a suction tube (17), around which suction tube a screen element (18) is wrapped and to which suction tube suction can be applied, wherein the fiber bunching zone (16) is delimited by two clamping points (K1, K2) having respective lengths (L1, L2), a first clamping point (K1) being defined by the two rollers (6, 7) of the output roller pair (5) and a second clamping point (K2) being defined by the upper output roller (6) and the screen element (18), characterized in that, with respect to the longitudinal direction of the sliver (1, 19), the length (L1) of the first clamping point (K1) is greater than the length (L2) of the second clamping point (K2).
