[origin: WO2019115804A1] The invention relates to a handle support (1) designed to be mounted on an opening panel of a motor vehicle, an opening panel handle assembly comprising such handle support (1) and a method for mounting the opening panel handle assembly. The handle support (1) comprises a base (5), a lever (6) that is rotatably mounted, comprising a first arm (9) intended to be connected to an arm of the handle and to slide in the interior of the housing (11) of the base (5) along a sliding path (Y), and a return spring (7) that exerts a return force on the lever (6) to bring it back to a closed position. According to the invention, the handle support (1) comprises: - a first blocking means (12) to block the lever (6) in translation along the direction (X) in an axial position that is offset in relation to the sliding path (Y), helping to keep the lever (6) in an intermediate angular position between the closed position and the open position, - a second blocking means (13) to block the rotation of the lever (6) when the lever (6) is in an intermediate angular position, and - a means of transforming (14) a rotational movement of the lever (6) into a translational movement of the lever (6) when the lever (6) is pivoted from its intermediate angular position toward an open position, in order to free the lever (6) from the first and second blocking means (12, 13).
