[origin: WO2019115897A1] Scroll-type positive-displacement machine comprising: a first, fixed structure (2) formed by a first transverse disk-shaped end plate (2001), of which one of the surfaces forms a scroll base from which rises a wall defining a first scroll (2002), said end plate (2001) having a first central orifice (407), a second, moving structure (3) formed by a second transverse disk-shaped end plate (3001), of which one of the surfaces forms a scroll base from which rises a wall defining a second scroll (3002), the thickness of the wall of each of said scrolls (2002, 3002) varying between a constant nominal thickness over an intermediate portion that extends over more than one turn, and a reduced thickness at the level of said upper indentations (409, 313) in a central end portion extending between 60° and 120° from the inner end of the scroll, said reduced thickness being less than 50% of said nominal thickness.
