Die Erfindung betrifft einen Klappbehälter (2; 302) mit einem Boden (4; 304), einklappbaren Seitenwänden (6, 8, 10, 12; 306, 308, 310, 312), einem Deckel (14; 314), einem im Verhältnis zum Deckel (14; 314) beweglichen Verschlusselement (16; 316), zumindest einem ersten Verschlusselementgegenstück (34; 334) und zumindest einem zweiten Verschlusselementgegenstück (36; 336). Das zumindest eine zweite Verschlusselementgegenstück (36; 336) ist an einem dem Boden (4; 304) zugewandten Abschnitt der Seitenwände (6, 8, 10, 12; 306, 308, 310, 312) und/oder an dem Boden (4; 304) derart vorgesehen, dass in einer Verstaustellung des Deckels (14; 314) das zumindest eine zweite Verschlusselementgegenstück (36; 336) mit dem Verschlusselement (16; 316) formschlüssig zusammenwirken kann, um den Deckel (14; 314) bei eingeklappten Seitenwänden (6, 8, 10, 12; 306, 308, 310, 312) in der Verstaustellung zu verschließen.
