[origin: WO2020212603A1] The invention relates to a sealing film (1) for applying to a subsurface (2), comprising a carrier film (3) and multiple functional layers (4), wherein the functional layers includes at least two colour representation layers (5, 6) and at least two adhesion-controlling layers (8, 9), wherein the sealing film has an adhesive layer (11) for securing to the subsurface, wherein the functional layers are arranged between the carrier film and the adhesive layer, wherein the carrier film can be at least partially detached from the functional layers, wherein at least one symbol is optically visible in a second sate, said symbol not being visible in a first state, wherein, when detaching the carrier film, regions defined by the at least two adhesion-controlling layers can be removed from the at least two colour representation layers. According to the invention, the functional layers include at least one further adhesion-controlling layer (10), in order to make at least sections of at least one layer (17) lying behind the further adhesion-controlling layer visible in the second state when viewed from the carrier film in the direction of the adhesive layer.
