[origin: WO2019179826A1] The aim of the invention is to be able to introduce meat loaves that have been pre-frozen, at least lightly frozen, for cutting into slices without problems into the mould cavity of a moulding tube or to function in this case with smaller moulding tube cross-sections. This aim is achieved, according to the invention, in that the first part of the reforming of the meat loaf already takes place before the freezing, during insertion into a pre-mould. In this state, in which the loaf is compressed in the pre-mould, the loaf together with the pre-mould is frozen in the freezer, then removed and is supplied in the moulding tube for final pressing into the final pressed state.
