[origin: WO2019121760A1] In a garment (0) comprising a textile layer (1), with in inner side (10) facing a wearer when the garment is worn and an outer side (11) facing away from the skin (3), a breathable effect in breathable regions is to be obtained despite a lack of direct contact with the skin of a wearer. This is achieved in that the textile layer (1) has at least one breathable region (2) at a distance from the wearer's skin (3) when the garment is worn, in which breathable region a plurality of thread tentacles (20), each designed in a single piece as an open loop, are brought out of individual second threads into the textile layer (1) in such a way that each thread tentacle (20) has two tentacle sections (200) pointing away from the inner side (10) of the textile layer (1) and one central section (201) extending along on the outer side (11), wherein the tentacle sections (200) of the thread tentacles (20) can, when the garment (0) is worn, be brought into direct contact with the surface of the wearer's skin, while the inner side (10) of the textile layer (1) remains at a distance from the skin surface in the region of the breathable region (2).
