[origin: WO2019122276A1] A spacer for insulating glazing extends in a longitudinal direction and comprises first and second main attachment portions, made from metal, opposite each other in a lateral direction and respectively defining first and second main attachment faces. The first and second main attachment portions are linked together structurally by a main linking portion extending in said lateral direction and essentially constituted by plastic material. The spacer comprises at least two mounting grooves for holding the lateral ends of the main linking portion, said grooves being arranged so as to keep at least one intermediate area of the main linking portion free.
