Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2019122622A1] The present invention relates to a device (1) for cleaning the tips (70) of a burner (7) present on rotary kilns, said device (1) consists of a support tube (2) of axis X designed to pass through said burner, and it is characterized in that the support tube (2) comprises a metal cable (3) connected at one of its ends to a scraper (4) and at the other end to a system (5) for positioning the scraper and holding it in position, in that the scraper (4) is articulated on the support tube (2) between a first position aligned on the axis X extending from the support tube and a second position perpendicular to the axis X, and in that the support tube (2) is connected to a system (6) for rotating the whole device. It can be put in place and manipulated from the rear of the burner, which ensures safety for interventions. Its rotation and/or translation about the tip of the burner makes it possible to effectively clean off concretions of any kind (shape, hardness, etc.) or position.
