[origin: WO2019125266A1] The present invention relates to a rail (10) intended for securing one, or more, electronic shelf labels (30) or signs for displaying information, to a forward, substantially vertical, edge of a shelf or desk; said rail (10) comprising: an elongated support member (11), said support member is intended to be secured to the edge (13) of the shelf (14), or desk, said support member having a substantially straight upper edge (16); and a protruding section (17) extending from the upper edge (16) of the support member, said protruding section being substantially U-shaped such that a recess (18), extending substantially upwards from the upper edge (16) of the support member,is formed, said recess comprises an aft side (19) arranged towards the shelf or desk and a forward side (20) on the opposite side of the recess, said protruding section comprises a first shoulder (21) arranged along the aft side of the recess and a second shoulder (22) arranged along the forward side of the recess, said first shoulder is arranged at a larger distance in a direction substantially upwards from the upper edge of the support member than the second shoulder such that the recess has a curved shape within the protruding section,whereinthe protruding section of the rail is formed in one piece of a homogenous material. The invention furthermore relates to an information display device and a tool for use in combination with the rail.
