[origin: WO2019137666A1] The invention relates to an apparatus for filling containers (14) under pressure having an in particular revolving transport element (11) which comprises receiving stations (12) with container receptacles (18) for the containers (14), wherein a feed/discharge device (23) for feeding and discharging the containers (14) is arranged in the conveying region of the transport element (11), wherein the container receptacle (18) of a receiving station (12) is arranged beneath an associated filling element (16). The filling element (16) is adjustable in the vertical direction by means of a first lifting mechanism (24) in order to adapt the filling apparatus to different container sizes. At least one shielding arrangement (22) adjustable relative to the filling element (16) is formed on the receiving station (12) and contains a one-piece partition plate in the form of a partially circular or circular cylinder which at least partially surrounds the container (14) in a protection position during the filling process.
