[origin: CA3147899A1] The invention relates to a printing press and to a method for printing textiles, said printing press having: a machine bed; at least one conveying device which is arranged on the machine bed and which serves for conveying at least one textile product along a processing path; at least one primer device which is arranged on the machine bed and which serves for applying a primer over the full area of a motif region of the textile product, on which motif region a print motif is to be provided; and at least one printing device which is arranged on the machine bed and which has at least one digital print head for printing the print motif. According to the invention, at least one pressing device is arranged between the primer device and the printing device along the processing path, which pressing device is configured for pressing the motif region with the primer applied thereto.
