[origin: WO2019141307A1] The invention relates to a closing system for a door or flap of a motor vehicle, comprising a locking mechanism for securing a closed door or flap, in which a rotational element (1) is provided for an actuating unit for triggering the locking mechanism, the locking mechansim comprising a locking element (2) and the closing system being designed such that, during a rotational movement (3) of the rotational element (1), the locking element (2) and the rotational element (1) can abut against each other in order to stop the rotational element (1), a spring element (4) being provided for the abutment. The invention also relates to a closing system for a door or flap of a motor vehicle, comprising a locking mechanism for securing a closed door or flap, with a movable component and an abutment (10) for limiting a movement of the movable component, the abutment (10) comprising a spring element (4) and a limiter (7) for the spring travel of the spring element (4). A precise and low-noise positioning of the components such as e.g. a worm wheel and an actuating unit can thereby be enabled.
