An aerosol delivery device. The aerosol delivery device comprising: a passive aerosol generator, located within a first airflow path, and configured to aerosolize an aerosol precursor; a second airflow path; wherein the second airflow path at least partially bypasses the aerosol generator; and wherein the first airflow path is configured to direct air around or through the passive aerosol generator to form an aerosol, the aerosol being provided to the first airflow path.
