Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2019149827A1] The invention relates to a securing device (100) that can be attached to a person to be secured and is configured such that, when attached to a person to be secured, it runs along an elongate securing means (150). A receiving housing (110) comprises a receiving groove (112) and two lateral walls which are spaced apart and lie opposite one another, and extend from said receiving groove (112) such that the receiving groove (112) and lateral walls partially enclose the securing means (150). A securing lever (101) having an attachment region (102) is provided, to which the person can be attached, said securing lever (101) being pivotally mounted between the lateral walls. The securing lever (101) is designed and able to pivot such that, in a secured position in which the securing means is blocked, within the receiving groove (112), from displacement in at least one direction along the securing means (150), the securing means can be pressed into the receiving groove (112) and the attachment region (102) projects out of the receiving housing (110) to allow use, and, in a released position in which the securing means can be displaced within the receiving groove (112), the securing lever (101) is covered between the lateral walls in the receiving housing (110) such that attachment of the person to the attachment region (102) is prevented.
