[origin: WO2019149627A1] The invention relates to an arrangement and to a covering device (1) for a drinking vessel (2) such as, in particular, a bottle, comprising a fastening part (3) for fastening the covering device (1) on the drinking vessel (2), also comprising a covering part (4) for covering a drinking opening (5) of the drinking vessel (2), and further comprising an actuating mechanism (6) for displacing the covering part (4) from a closed position into an open position and from an open position into a closed position, wherein the actuating mechanism (6) comprises an actuating element (19), in particular an actuating lever, and wherein the actuating element (19) is coupled to the covering part (4) via a gear mechanism (8), and wherein the actuating element (19) is designed in the form of an actuating weight (7).
