[origin: WO2019155163A1] The invention relates to a device that makes it possible to perform a method of tying plants by means of a device (P) of the "pliers" type comprising at least two articulated arms (100, 200), the opening and closing of which give rise to the following operations: feeding a length of tie (401), forming a loop (403), cutting the tie (401), closing the loop (403) for the purposes of tying, notable in that it consists in synchronizing the rotational movement of the articulated arms (100, 200) with the translational movement of a jaw (520) able to move in one of the arms, so that it passes from a position of gripping the tie (401) during the operations of feeding the tie and forming the loop (403), into a release position during the cutting operation and in order to allow the loop (403) to be closed. The invention also relates to the relevant tie-feeding sub assembly (400) and to the relevant tie (401). Applications: agriculture, tying-in of plants.
