[origin: WO2019154696A1] The invention relates to an assisting fitting (28) which assists the opening and/or closing in the region of one of the four wing sides. The assisting fitting (28) has an angled assisting arm (42) with a fulcrum (44). The assisting arm (42) has at least two legs (52a, 52b), in particular exactly two legs (52a, 52b). The fulcrum (44) of the assisting arm (42) can be formed between the legs (52a, 52b). The legs (52a, 52b) are each longer than they are wide. The assisting arm (42) is connected at one end to a spring element (50), and therefore pivoting of the assisting arm (42) about the fulcrum (44) causes tensioning or compression of the spring element (50). The assisting arm (42) and the spring element (50) are preferably each mounted pivotably on a first rail (32a) of the assisting fitting (28). The assisting arm (42) can be mounted pivotably on a second rail (32b) at the other end. The fulcrum (44) of the assisting arm (42) can be situated on a riser of the first rail. The fulcrum (44) is preferably situated at half the height of the spring element (50). The assisting fitting (28) allows the opening and/or closing of a wing side to be assisted in a particularly simple manner in terms of design.
