A sole structure (200) for an article of footwear (10) having an upper (100), the sole structure (200) comprising: an outsole (210); a plate (300) disposed between the outsole (210) and the upper (100), the plate comprising: an anterior-most point (302) disposed in a forefoot region (12) of the sole structure (200); an aft point (326) disposed closer to a heel region (16) of the sole structure (200) than the anterior-most point (302); a concave portion (310) including a constant radius of curvature extending from the anterior-most point (302) past a metatarsophalangeal (MTP) point (320) of the sole structure (200), the MTP point (320) being tangent with a reference plane (RP) and located from about twenty-five percent to about thirty-five percent of a total length of the plate from the anterior-most point (302); and the aft point (326) located twenty-five percent to thirty-five percent of the total length of the plate (300) from the MTP point (320); a first cushioning layer (250) disposed between the concave portion (310) and the upper (100); and a second cushioning layer disposed between the outsole (210) and the plate (300).
