Abstract (en)
Freezing tunnel (1) for cooling and freezing individual food portions, comprising a freezing room (3) in which food is frozen by means of cooled air, and a conveying device for moving the food through the freezing room (3), wherein the conveying device comprises a conveyor belt (9) and has at least a top layer made of silicone material in which a number of flexible mould cavities (17) are provided which are suitable for receiving an individual food portion. The conveyor belt (9) after passing a guide roller (6) follows a downwardly directed course.
