The device according to the invention has at least one holding element for a weaving harness element. Arranged on the at least one holding element is a support surface for a weaving harness element, and the greater extent of the support surface defines a longitudinal direction and the shorter extent of the support surface defines a widthwise direction of the holding element. According to the invention, the at least one holding element is arranged so as to be pivotable about a first axis, which is arranged perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the holding element. In this way, a weaving harness element arranged on the support surface of the holding element can be moved from a receiving position to a draw-in position by pivoting the holding element about the first axis.
