[origin: WO2019162076A1] The present invention relates to a guard (1) having a guard element (2) on the basis of rigid plastic or metal, which guard element has a concave rear face (2b) that is curved transversely to a longitudinal axis (L1) of the guard (1) and partially encloses an inner space for accommodating the limb of a user, and a convex front face (2a). The guard comprises at least one closing device (34) for removably fastening the guard element to a limb of the user while allowing to adjust the size of the guard element.
