Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2019165483A1] The invention relates to a tamping assembly (1) for a track-tamping machine with tamping tools formed as rocker arm pairs. Each tamping tool has a pick arm (5, 10) that is mounted on a support (3) so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis, with an associated hydraulic drive (4) acting on one end of said pick arm and at least one pick (9) being attached at the other end of said pick arm. In order to improve the service life of the device, it is proposed that the pick arm (5b, 10b) is formed with one web and is mounted on the pivot axis between two axis supports associated with the support, that a pick holder (16, 17) is provided between the pick arm (5b, 10b) and pick (9), which pick holder is mounted on the pick arm (5b, 10b) so as to be pivotable by means of a pivot drive (6a, b) about an adjustment axis, and that the adjustment axis is arranged normal to the pivot axis and the point at which the hydraulic drive (4) acts on the pick arm (5, 10), the longitudinal axis of the pick arm (5, 10) and the adjustment axis lying in a common plane which lies between the two axis supports associated with the support.
