[origin: WO2015164986A1] A tear-off lid (10) has a removal opening (15) with a beaded rim and is designed such that prior to beading of the rim a plastic layer is applied to the collar of the lid ring in the form of a strip (32) of little thickness and preferably of less than 0.1 mm thickness. The invention thus allows in a cost-effective manner a good sealability of the cutting edge (31) of the tear-off lid and permits production thereof at high rates.

Ein Aufreissdeckel (10) umfasst einen umlaufenden Befestigungsabschnitt (6), einen Siegelflansch (7) mit einer auf diesem aufgesiegelten Aufreissfolie und einem um den Siegelflansch (7) umlaufenden eingerollten Rand (5), der die Entnahmeöffnung (15) seitlich begrenzt. Der eingerollte Rand weist eine bandförmige Dichtung (32) aus einem Kunststoff, insbesondere aus einem thermoplastischen Elastomer (TPE), auf, welche eine im Wesentlichen gleichmässige Dicke aufweist.
