Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2019170199A1] A lightweight suitcase (1) having a mobile closet function, comprising a base pan (14) and a suitcase lid (5) in the form of a cover shell, having wheels (56-59) which are mounted on the base pan (14) and can be rotated 360° perpendicularly to the rolling plane and to the plane of the base pan (14), and having telescopic runners (8-11) with integrated locking devices as prefabricated components and with a flexible, light suitcase wall material (16) between the base pan (14) and cover shell (5), wherein the cover shell (5) together with the telescopic runners (8-11) can be locked and translationally retracted and pulled out by means of a push-button (12, 13) integrated into the cover shell (5) and by means of an integrated push-button-force-distributing strut (62, 63), and having a support strut (15), wherein the support strut (15) secures at least one, preferably two, telescopic runners (8-11) to the suitcase wall material (16) so that the suitcase (1) has a stable framework construction that forms a closet, in particular even when expanded.
