Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2019170672A1] The invention relates to a device for sampling (10) biological elements comprising a sleeve (12), a rod (14) and a sampling brush (16). The rod is movable and guided in translation and in rotation relative to the sleeve such that the brush is extracted from the sleeve and rotates as the device moves from a first retracted configuration to a sampling configuration. The rod is movable and guided relative to the sleeve such that the brush is inserted into the sleeve as the device moves from the sampling configuration to a second retracted configuration. The device comprises a tracking device (19) comprising information relating to the device. The tracking device and the sleeve are arranged such that the tracking device information can be read only after a predetermined number of revolutions when the device is in the sampling configuration or in the second retracted configuration.
