[origin: WO2019170994A1] The invention relates to a rolling method suitable for a strip rolling mill (ST) comprising: - rolling of a strip by means of a pair of working rollers (WR), - transmitting a rolling force to the working rollers by means of a pair of support rollers (SR), - retaining each of the working rollers (WR) by means of a pair of side bearing rollers (SSR), - supporting each of the side bearing rollers by means of two rows formed by a plurality of followers (G) - supporting each of the two rows formed by the plurality of followers (G), by means of a bearing support (BS) supporting the two rows of followers, the bearing support is pivotally mounted along an articulated axis (A1), and wherein the dimensions of a first interspace (It1) defined between the side bearing roller (SSR) and the support roller (SR) and a second interspace (It2) defined between the strip (ST) and the side bearing roller (SSR)/bearing support (BS) assembly vary during the rolling process. According to the invention, the method comprises an adjustment step in which the dimension of the first interspace (It1) and of the second interspace (It2) is adjusted by adjusting the dimension separating the axis (ASR) of the support roller (SR) and the axis (ASSR) of the side bearing roller (SSR) defining, with the support roller, the first interspace (It1).
