Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2019170653A1] The invention relates to a biocidal coating material and an associated production process. The process comprises the steps of: (i) providing a ureamine component obtainable by reaction of a) an aliphatic or araliphatic di- or triisocyanate with b) a mixture of a first amine having a primary or secondary amine group and one or more second amines having 2 or more primary or secondary amine groups, wherein a ratio of the sum of the primary and secondary amine groups to the isocyanate groups is 10:1 to 2:1; (ii) providing an epoxide component which comprises one or more aliphatic polyfunctional glycidyl ethers; and (iii) reacting the ureamine component with the epoxide component, wherein a ratio of the epoxide groups of the epoxide component to the amine groups of the ureamine component is 0.25:1 to 1:0.25.
