Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2019175653A1] The present invention relates to wheelchairs. The wheelchair according to the invention has a support frame 10, two wheels 21, 22 mounted rotatably with respect to the frame 10, an energy source 30, two electric motors 23, 24 coupled respectively to the two wheels 21, 22, these motors having two directions of rotation, two reversers 41, 42, each reverser having a reverser part 101 and a reverser part 102, these two reverser parts being movable with respect to each other, the two reversers 41, 42 being interposed in series between the source 30 and the inputs 25, 26 of the two electric motors 23, 24, one reverser part 101 having two contact poles 43, 44, and the other reverser part 102 having a lever 45, the two reverser parts being able to be displaced with respect to each other in such a way that the lever, starting from a rest position, can come into contact with one or other of the two poles 43, 44, means 53 for securely mounting the reverser part 101 on the frame 10, and means 50 for controlling the displacement of the reverser part 102 with respect to the reverser part 101, so as to bring the lever 45 into contact with one or other of the two poles 43, 44, depending on the rotation that is desired for the motors 23, 24.
