Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2019180174A1] The invention relates to an energy supply system for an electrically driven utility vehicle, more particularly a waste collection vehicle, comprising a vehicle chassis (10), a first drive module (12) having an electric motor for mechanically driving the utility vehicle, and a first energy storage module (14), which supplies the first drive module (12) with electrical energy. A second energy storage module (16) is provided, which can be reversibly connected selectively to the first drive module (12), to the first energy storage module (14), or to both modules (12, 14). The modules (12, 14, 16) can be arranged in or on the vehicle chassis (10).
