[origin: WO2019206858A1] The invention relates to a device (1) for transporting objects (10), comprising a first conveying unit (2), wherein this conveying unit (2) has a switch unit (4) and a feed section (22), which conveys the objects to the switch unit (4), and wherein, by means of the switch unit, the objects (10) can optionally be conveyed along a first discharge section (42) and a second discharge section (44), and wherein the device (1) has a selection unit (20) in order to convey the objects (10) optionally onto the first discharge section (42) or the second discharge section (44), wherein said selection unit (20) has at least one contact unit (26) in order to urge the objects (10), wherein said selection unit (20) can be switched between a first state, in which it has no influence on the direction of movement of the objects (10), and a second state, in which it changes the direction of movement of the objects (10), wherein, in the first state, the switch unit (4) conveys the objects (10) into the second discharge section (44).
