Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2019180098A1] The invention relates to a device for taking samples from bioreactors, having a riser line (1) which can be connected to a bioreactor, a branch line (2) and a sampling line (3), which are connected by a T-shaped connector. The sampling line (3) has a first shutoff valve (4), the branch line (2) is connected to a positive pressure source (5), and the sampling line (3) is connected to a pump (7). In the sample-taking device, the positive pressure source (5), the pump (7) and the first shutoff valve (4) can be controlled automatically by means of a control unit (13). The invention also relates to a method for using such a sample-taking device.
