[origin: WO2020020448A1] The invention relates to a vibratory tamping machine (1) for compacting a ballast bed of a track, said vibratory tamping machine having a vibration mechanism (4) which is driven by means of an electric drive motor (2). In order to isolate at least one handle (13, 14, 17) from vibrations, the vibratory tamping machine (1) has a vibration isolation device (21) which defines an isolation plane (E) and separates a working side (26) from an operator side (27). The handles (13, 14, 17) are arranged on the operator side (27), whereas the electric drive motor (2) and the vibration mechanism (4) are arranged on the working side (26).
