Abstract (en)
A drying process of sewage sludge is disclosed, of the type which performs the drying using superheated steam and wherein the sludge is placed to dry as extruded products on sliding shelves, of the conveyor belt type, one on top of the other, the extruded products moving from one shelf to the other until they come out dried, due to the action of said steam. According to the present invention, the extruded are placed substantially in a straight line onto said shelves, in orderly parallel rows.A plant for the implementation of the above-said process is also disclosed.
