[origin: EP3772468A1] Container (10) for transporting foods comprising a plurality of walls (11, 12a-d, 13) which identify a chamber (14) adapted to contain the food to be transported. The walls (11, 12a-d, 13) are made of water-absorbent material, which comprises a first layer (15) facing the chamber (14) of the container (10), a second layer (16) facing the outside of the container, and an intermediate layer (17), arranged between the first layer (15) and the second layer (16) and comprising a gap (18a, 18b). In at least one of the walls of the container a plurality of holes (20a, 20b, 20c) are obtained which pass through at least the first layer (15) of the material of which the walls are made. Such holes (20a, 20b, 20c) are adapted to put the chamber (14) of the container (10) in communication with at least part of the gap (18a, 18b). The holes (20a, 20b, 20c) do not cross the second layer (16) of the material of which the walls are made.
