[origin: WO2019185090A1] The invention relates to a wheel module (10) for a motor vehicle, in particular a multi-track passenger car, comprising a wheel (22) for the locomotion of the motor vehicle, a steering rod (14) for transferring a steering motion to the wheel (22), which steering rod can be rotatably mounted on a support frame (18) of the motor vehicle, a wishbone (20) for forming an articulation point (24) radially offset to the wheel (22), which wishbone is connected to the steering rod (14), a rocker (26), which is articulated to the articulation point (24) of the wishbone (20) and to the wheel (22), and a shock absorber (28) for the vibration damping of a relative motion of the wheel (22), which shock absorber is connected to the rocker (26) and to the wishbone (20), wherein the shock absorber (28), in particular including a chassis spring, is arranged axially offset to the wheel (22) in the axial direction of the wheel (22). Because of the shock absorber (28) connected to the wheel (22) and to the wishbone (20) and arranged adjacent to the wheel (22), a large steering angle is enabled for a motor vehicle while only a small installation space is required.
