[origin: WO2019186081A2] The invention relates to a device configured for grain malting, with discontinuous operation, comprising: a treatment chamber; brewing means (3); means for filling the chamber with water and means for emptying the chamber; an atmosphere management system comprising at least heating means; and a control unit. According to the invention, the brewing means (3) comprise a moving element having a rotation shaft (30), with at least one brewing tool (31, 32); and the longitudinal treatment chamber comprises: a sealed external casing (20), and a cradle (21) inside the treatment chamber, having a U-shaped cross-section and an open-work wall, permeable to the fluid but impermeable to the grains, said internal cradle (21) having an upper opening and being configured to receive the moving element.
