[origin: WO2019197095A1] The invention relates to a projectile (1), comprising a projectile casing (2), an explosive charge (3) contained therein, and a closure part (5). In order to prevent the introduction of heat into the explosive charge (3) from the compressed air layer in the projectile, it is provided that a protective layer (6) is applied at least to a rear explosive-charge surface (7) of the explosive charge (3). The layer thickness of the protective layer (6) can be variably designed. The protective layer (6) should be matched as accurately as possible to the contour of the explosive charge (3).
