[origin: WO2019192842A1] The invention relates to a connection device (1) for connecting a shield conductor (20) of an electric line (2) to a grounding section (3), comprising a housing (10) that encloses a receiving area (12) into which an electric line (2) can be inserted along a longitudinal axis (L) together with a shield conductor (20). Additionally, a spring element (11) which is arranged on the housing (10) in an adjustable manner is provided, said spring element having a clamping limb (13) and being movable out of an open position into a clamping position relative to the housing (10) in order to act on a shield conductor (20) of an electric line (2) inserted into the receiving area (12) by means of the clamping limb (13) in the clamping position, wherein the clamping limb (13) has a contact section (130) for acting on the shield conductor (20), said contact section having a contoured contact section (K), which is curved or angled at least in some sections on a face facing the shield conductor (20) when viewed on a plane (A) perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (L).
