Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2019185420A1] The invention relates to a discharge device (1) for discharging an electrostatic charge from a shaft (20), having a frame holder (2) with a first limb (3) and a second limb (4) and having a contact section (6) for forming a contact surface together with the shaft (20), wherein a first end (7) of the contact section (6) is clamped against the first limb (3), and a second end (8) of the contact section (6) is movably mounted on the second limb (4). The discharge device also has a receiving means (10) which is arranged on the frame holder (2), the second end (8) of the contact section (6) protruding at least partly into the receiving means (10), and a switch which is arranged in the receiving means (10) or in the contact section (6), in particular a reed switch (12) which is designed to be activated as a result of a movement of the second contact section (6) end (8) that at least partly protrudes into the receiving means (10).
