Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to a connector element (5) being connected or connectable to flat decks (2) of at least two laterally arranged transport platforms (1) in order to provide a stiff connection of the at least two transport platforms (1), the connector element (5) comprising at least two legs (9, 13) which are inserted or insertable into corresponding openings (11, 15) of each of the at least two transport platforms (1) and a rim portion (7) adapted to protrude from the decks (2) of the transport platforms (1) for restraining loads placed on top of the decks (2) at least in a lateral direction. Further, the invention relates to a transport systems comprising at least one such connector element (5) and at least two transport platforms (1).
