[origin: WO2019202457A2] The invention relates to a fire extinguisher having an inspection device which: determines the inner pressure state of a corrosion-resistant, heat- and cold-resistant and vibration-resistant pressure vessel that is made of material on which information can be directly printed; and compares, by means of a comparison unit, multiple measured values with each other and/or with setpoint values and displays the operating state. The display of the internal pressure state allows anyone, even a layperson, to readily determine whether the fire extinguisher is ready for operation and whether all the components of the fire extinguisher function properly. According to the invention, two essential features for improving conventional fire extinguishers are provided: the inspection device with improved, reliable means for controlling the inner pressure state and the fact that the pressure vessel is made of corrosion-resistant, heat- and cold-resistant and vibration-resistant material.
