The stop element comprises: two opposing stop sections (111, 112) and at least one connection element (120) which connects the two opposing stop sections (111, 112). One of the two stop sections (111, 112) couples to the at least one solar module mounting (40) and the other stop section of the stop sections (112, 111) couples to the securing means (60) or to another solar module mounting (40) in order to receive a torque (M) produced by a load on the solar module mounting (40).
