Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2019207116A1] The invention relates to a beverage maker, which contains a graphical operating interface, a control unit and a data store. The control unit is configured to use a selection of at least one element in at least two groups of elements to decide which beverage is dispensed by the beverage maker and is configured to determine, on the basis of a selection of at least one element in the first group by a user and on the basis of a matrix stored in the data store, whether the display of one or more elements of a second group of elements on the graphical operating interface is changed. Correspondingly, the invention relates to a method for operating a beverage maker. The beverage maker and the method for operating a beverage maker allow a user of the beverage maker to select and dispense a beverage desired by the user more easily and more quickly and with fewer errors.
