Inorder to improve the power and energy efficiency of the laundry treatment appliance, at least one air outlet opening separate from the inlet opening is formed in a wall section of the upper wall of the collection container facing the fluff screen, so that in the drying process, part of dry air flowing into the collecting container through the first inlet opening flows out of the collecting container towards the evaporator through the air outlet opening, the wall section is arranged on the bottom side below the area between the lower end of the fluff screen and the evaporator.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Wäschebehandlungsgerät (1), aufweisend einen geschlossenen Trocknungsluftkreislauf (3) mit einem Flusensieb (4), eine Wärmepumpe (5), eine Spüleinrichtung (8) zum Abspülen von Partikeln von dem Flusensieb (4) und einem Verdampfer (6) der Wärmepumpe (5) und wenigstens einen Sammelbehälter (12) zum Sammeln von abgespülten Partikeln aufweist. Darüber hinaus ist an einem Wandabschnitt einer dem Flusensieb (4) zugewandt angeordneten oberen Wand (15) des Sammelbehälters (12) wenigstens eine separat von den Einlassöffnungen (13, 14) angeordnete Luftauslassöffnung (16) ausgebildet, sodass ein Teil einer während eines Trocknungsvorgangs durch die erste Einlassöffnung (13) in den Sammelbehälter (12) einströmende Trocknungsluft über die Luftauslassöffnung (16) in Richtung eines Verdampfers (6) aus dem Sammelbehälter (12) ausströmt.
