[origin: WO2019214960A1] The present invention relates to a protective helmet (1) having damping means in the form of displacement discs (6), each comprising: - an external ring (7); - a central "ball" or stud (9); - a plurality of deformable arms (8), the two ends of which connect the external ring (7) substantially tangentially and the central ball (9) radially. The deformable arms (8) have a length of at least 1.5 times the radius of the external ring (7) so as to be able to form, by deformation, a conical and elastic structure, the central ball (9) of which is located at the top and is in contact with the external rigid shell (2). The displacement discs (6) are furthermore secured to the internal face of the external rigid shell (2), such that, in a static position, the internal structure (3) is separated from the external rigid shell (2) by a gap (14).
