[origin: WO2019214855A1] The invention relates to a device for the removal of a number of workpieces (W) from a material strip (S), the device comprising a removal station (10), to which the material strip (S) can be fed and in which the workpiece (W) can be removed from the material strip (S) by an action on the material strip (S). The device (1) comprises a transporting arrangement, by means of which a workpiece strip (WS) containing the workpieces (W) removed from the material strip (S) and at least one residual strip (S', S'') containing the remaining region of the material strip (S) can be moved on further in a transporting arrangement. In accordance with the invention it is provided that a separation station (20) is arranged after the removal station (10) of the device (1) in the transport direction of the material strip (S), by means of which separation station (20) the workpiece strip (WS) containing the workpieces (W) can be separated in a first plane and the residual strip or the residual strips (S', S'') can be separated in a second plane distanced from the first plane.
