[origin: WO2019219432A1] The invention relates to a sliding-pivoting mechanism of a rack (10) of a piece of furniture or a household appliance (1) for pulling and lifting the rack (10) out of a body (2) of the piece of furniture or household appliance (1), said mechanism comprising at least two parallel pivoting arms (3, 4) which are attached to the body (2) in a pivotable manner and form a parallel guide for a pull-out guide (5), wherein the pull-out guide (5) comprises a guide rail (51), a middle rail (52) that can be moved in relation to the guide rail (51) and a running rail (53) that can be moved in relation to the middle rail (52) and to which the rack (10) is attached, as well as a locking mechanism which is arranged on the guide rail (51) and on one of the pivoting arms (3, 4), for preventing simultaneous pivoting and sliding movement, wherein the locking mechanism comprises a switching device (8) that can be moved between at least two switching positions (S1, S2) and by means of which the running rail (53), in a pre-determined partially pulled-out basic pivoting position (LP1, LP2) in relation to the guide rail (51), can be moved, in one of the switching positions (S1, S2), together with the other components of the pull-out guide (5), in a continuous sliding movement in relation to the guide rail (51).
