[origin: WO2019238241A1] The disclosure relates to increased power efficiency in a client device using new and more flexible wake-up schemes. The client device receives a wake-up scheme from a network access node. The wake-up scheme is associated with a wake-up behaviour indicating a wake- up procedure of the client device for reception of wake-up signals from the network access node, as well as when and how the client device monitors for wake-up signals. Based on the received wake-up scheme, the client device operate in a wake-up signalling mode according to the associated wake-up behaviour. The network access node determines wake-up schemes for the client device and transmits the determined wake-up schemes to the client device dynamically, e.g. based on current traffic type or conditions.
